Volusia Regional Detention Center
This is a residential program operated by the Department of Juvenile Justice. Clients are placed at this facility by various law enforcement agencies while awaiting adjudication by the court system.
Stewart-Marchman Residential Adolescent Program (RAP)
The program provided at this facility offers treatment for clients, ages 13-18, who are dependent upon drugs and/or alcohol. The educational programs are individualized to comply with their transition plan. Clients attending the center have been referred by the Department of Children and Family Services, the client's family or adjudicated by the court system throughout the state of Florida. The Residential Adolescent Program serves a maximum of 28 clients. The average length of stay is 6 to 9 months.
G4S (Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility)
This Level VIII Secured Intensive Residential Commitment program is contracted by the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice. Its mission is to provide a structured environment in a residential setting for a maximum of 30 male clients, ages 13-18, who have been adjudicated in court and committed by the State of Florida. The program is designed to provide rehabilitation for committed youth through performance contracting and behavior modification. The length of stay is 12 to 18 months.
Department of Corrections/Branch Jail
This is a residential commitment facility, owned and operated by the State of Florida, Department of Corrections. Its mission is to provide a temporary holding facility for juvenile and adult inmates. The facility serves adult inmates and approximately 5-10 juvenile inmates, up to age 18, who are awaiting adult court hearings or placement in an adult corrections facility. Inmates who have been incarcerated in this facility have been referred either by the judicial system or an area law enforcement agency. The average length of stay is 6 to 12 months. Upon placement in the facility, the inmates are enrolled in the education program. Emphasis is placed on GED preparation.
