Page ContentThe Alternative Education program offers educational opportunities for approximately 3,000 students at 7 sites in Volusia County. The educational programs are staffed with certified teachers and are operated/monitored by the Volusia County School District. Many of the sites are operated through collaborative agreements or a contract between the school district and various community agencies, including the Department of Juvenile Justice.
