CONSIDERATION BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF VOLUSIA COUNTY: The proposed action will be considered by the School Board of Volusia County at the meeting to be held by the School Board on May 28, 2019, at the DeLand Administrative Complex, 200 North Clara Avenue, DeLand, Florida. The School Board shall set aside time for the purpose of receiving comment on the proposed action on or about 5:30 p.m. Speakers will be given up to three minutes to provide comment, in accordance with Volusia County School Board Policy 801. If any affected person under section 120.54, Florida Statutes, would like to request a hearing in order to present evidence and argument on any issue under consideration in the revision of the policy, Safety and Security of Students, Personnel and Property, he/she must submit such request in writing to the Agency Clerk, Ms. Connie Sphire, at 200 North Clara Avenue, DeLand, Florida, 32720.
