Variance Application Information
School Board Policy 203 (Revised and Effective March 29, 2011) provides parents with the opportunity to apply for a school other than their assigned-zoned school.
Variance applications are available at all Volusia County Schools and may be picked up during regular school hours.
Applications for the 2013-2014 school year will be accepted from January 7, 2013 through June 1, 2013. Applications submitted by March 28, 2013 will be considered for early decision. Applications submitted after March 28, 2013 will be acted on after the June 1 deadline.

During and following an emergency situation, school and district officials must act quickly and follow established emergency protocols to safeguard students and staff, secure schools, and communicate accurate information in a timely manner.
