Title 1 tutoring starts Tuesday, January 15. Tutoring will be provided for 6th and 7th grade ELA and math (no algebra at this time), 7th grade civics and 8th grade science. If you would like your child to attend, please have them pick up a tutoring form from their teacher or from Mrs. Beans in the media center on Monday. Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
The School Advisory Council (SAC) meets each month with the Principal and SAC Chair. All parents and community members are invited to attend our meetings at 6 p.m. in the media center on the dates listed below. Score a touchdown with Literacy! DeLand Middle School families are invited to join us on Thursday, January 31 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the media center. Students will kick-off the event by participating in fun, interactive literacy centers. 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 join the fun and don't be late.
