Congratulations to PRHS Band, under the direction of Mr. Robinson. State Solo and & Ensemble results - Jazz band got an excellent. This is the 2nd time in the school's history they went to state (tied last year's score) Julian Silva, Mario Arguinzoni, And Austin Regovic got superior with distinction on their solos. Kelvyn Frey, Samantha Schneider, and Kathan Stombaugh got Superiors as well. Mario Arguinzoni, Ethan Hayes, Kathan Stombaugh, and Sean McNeil got an excellent on performances too. Great job everyone!

Also of the 9 schools participating Pine Ridge Wrestling placed 3rd overall in team points, we were only 3 points shy of 2nd place. This has been the best showing for Pine Ridge Wrestling in recent history for a District Tournament.

I wanted to let you know how Troupe 5532 performed during District Competition this past weekend! Overall, we brought 33 individual events to competition ranging from technical and performance theatre. Of those, 6 events scored a superior rating and 20 events scored an excellent rating. The performances that received a superior rating qualify State Competition in March! I am so incredibly proud of how hard all of our students performed.

Congratulations PRHS Golf Team
The Pine Ridge Golf Team concluded the season on Monday at the Boys & Girls district tournament. The Panthers finished in 4th place with a score of 363. The team was just one place from making a state playoff run. Caden Laney led the team with a 80 followed by Sean Vacula & Austin Dunlap who both scored a 90. Caden Laney & Lois Stevenson will advance to the Regional State Playoff. They will play on Monday, October 23rd. Congratulations and Good luck, Lois & Caden!

The boys won against Atlantic 7-0. Trevor Bullis bowled a 194 and a 178, Nolan Metz a 185, and Aiden Trapani rolled a 175.

Emani was the Superintendent's Summer Academic Challenge Winner. She accepted the challenge and worked on math all summer. She was awarded with an iPod and a gift card from the “District Office Bus Brigade” on 9/22/17. Way to go!

Congratulations to the Manufacturing students that participated in Seaperch on Saturday, May 6th at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona. Seaperch is an underwater robotic competition. PRHS teams placed first in the Open division and second in the Stock division. Drivers Edwin Rosado and Steven Ortiz led the Panthers.
